I had the opportunity to attend Alice Yim‘s show at 2016 Style Fashion Week. It was great fun to see the goings-on back stage before the show, to enjoy a front-row view of the runway, and to admire the magnificent venue, Gotham Hall – a re-purposed savings bank rotunda.
The designs beautifully embodied Alice’s fashion ideal: “minimalist, classic, feminine and edgy.” Short dresses with elegant lines and colors dominated the show, all displaying sophistication and grace, and never excessive or overbearing. Wonderful designs!
