A great ghost ad from a brick building on Canal Place, near 141st Street.
Heavily photoshopped, it reads:
McDOUGALL & POTTER (COMPANY?)
STRUCTURAL IRON WORKS ARCHITECTURAL
—————-
In the lower right:
McDOUGALL & POTTER
STRUCTURAL
ORNAMENTAL
IRON WORKS
———————
Note the segmental arch openings for the windows. As brick is quite strong under compression, an arched opening is better when the wall is of brick.
