The regional spokesman for John McCain in Colorado accidentally sent the campaign’s internal talking points on the candidate’s plans to suspend his campaign to its entire Colorado media list, instead of a list of key volunteers, Wednesday afternoon, PolitickerCO’s Jeremy Pelzer reports.
How much lower and desperate and comical can the McCain campaign get?
Ok I’m here. Your new site needs an instant makeover, though not as bad as the McCain Campaign.I am absolutely mystified by the “rationale” behind his wanting to postpone the debate. Looks to me like he’s scared sh*tless at the prospect of debating Obama. It sure doesn’t look “Presidential.”
Whatever his reasons, I do not think the man is the type to be “scared sh*tless” by too many things compared to what he has been through before. You may vehemently disagree with his policies, but such statements does your side of a debate no service. So it is more Presidential to TALK about what needs to be done than to return to the Senate and become involved in the DOING?
This is absolutely a master stroke by McCain’s campaign (except for the whole leaking the talking points memo thing). Obama is going to be forced to respond, or be painted as a selfish SOB who wants to be president more than he wants to actually help the country.Whether America believes it is another story, and polls over the next few days will be fascinating to watch.
Well Reid did challenge McCain to do this and then flip floppedSo IMO SOMEONE would be making points no matter what the Man did.Taking both sides of a decision point seems to be considered a Win/Win position by some”Harry Reid went out of his way to tell him, “don’t bother”. However, as John McCormack notes at the Weekly Standard, that’s just a day after Reid’s insistence that McCain return to support the Bush administration’s bailout plan. How soon they forget:”
Well it isn’t as personal as your old sight but hey it will do. It’s the management that matters (even if you went over to the dark side and became evil lord of the Obamatron clone army).Repsecting the talking points? Well lets just say it wasn’t exactly a stroke of genius. As far as the debate is concerned? I don’t remember ole Barrack exactly being an eager beaver rip roaring to go and mix it up. He seems more like the kid who doesn’t have his homework done who comes into to school and learns the teacher is abscent for a few days talking himself up while breathing a silent sigh of relief.
