These two murals cover the north wall of Steven Restaurant, a nice little place, where I had a cafe con leche and a taste of mangu (a mashed plantain dish, but without the meat in mafongo). Peter Bielfeld grew up in the Bronx, was a star football player, and was working with FDNY Ladder Company 42 on September 11, 2001.
